This Beswick Seagull on Rock (Although it looks like a Tern to me), had old repairs to the wing which was painted over almost completely, the beak was also missing.
On removing all the old paintwork the two wing break were revealed so I dismantled the wing to clean all the old glue off ready to restore it again.

With the old repairs the whole wing had been covered in paint which didn't match the other undamaged wing at all.



The wing were glued with Fynebond and the small chips missing filled so the damaged parts could be painted, the glaze was flattened slightly to match the satin finish.
A new beak was made and painted and again the glaze made to match the satin sheen.
